it is with great pride and with a feeling of much success that the owners of method.hair announce their departure from the business. after three very fulfilling years of running, "one of the top 100 salons in america" (elle magazine, august 2009) they have decided it was time to hand over the reins to stylist shannon hollis.

after nurturing their baby (method) from it's inception, the owners have all had new babies arrive of their own within the past year. with that, they have decided it would be best for the business and for the current stylists for them to step aside and allow shannon to take over the business.

after running a salon with her mother some years back and managing Birds Barbershop (the only other austin salon mentioned in the same elle magazine article) shannon is ready to take on this new role. along with her work ethic and skills as an owner and manager, tim, kathryn and jeromy feel that shannon is the perfect fit for this transition into new ownership.
