Booking and Salon Policies
We want every visit to Method Hair to feel relaxed, welcoming, and enjoyable. These policies simply help us respect everyone's time, support our stylists, and ensure every guest receives the best possible experience.
New Guests
To reserve your first appointment, we require a credit or debit card on file.
If you're booking your first color appointment, we'll begin with a consultation to discuss your hair goals, timing, and maintenance so we can recommend the right service and stylist for you.
We also ask that guests arrive on time so we can provide the full experience you've booked.
Appointment Changes & Cancellations
We understand that plans change.
If you need to cancel or reschedule, we kindly ask for at least 48 hours' notice.
48–24 hours' notice: 50% of the scheduled service(s)
Less than 24 hours' notice or no-show: 100% of the scheduled service(s)
These fees help compensate your stylist for reserved appointment time that often cannot be filled on short notice.
Appointments may be cancelled or rescheduled by calling or texting (512) 469-0044 or through your online booking confirmation.
Late Arrivals
Guests arriving more than 15 minutes late may need to have their service adjusted or rescheduled to ensure we stay on time for all guests.
Late arrivals may still be subject to our cancellation policy.
Hair Extensions
All hair extension services begin with a complimentary consultation.
Once you decide to move forward with your extension service, a non-refundable deposit is required to purchase your custom hair.
Because extension hair is custom ordered specifically for each guest, deposits and purchased hair are non-refundable.
Service Adjustments
We want you to love your hair.
If you have any concerns about your service, please contact us within 7 days of your appointment so your stylist can review your concerns and, when appropriate, schedule a complimentary adjustment.
Because every service is customized, we do not offer refunds on completed services.
Retail Products
All retail product sales are final.
If you have questions about which products are right for your hair, our team is always happy to make recommendations before your purchase.
Children
Children are always welcome when receiving services.
To help create a relaxing experience for all guests, we kindly ask that children who are not scheduled for services remain at home whenever possible.
Our Children's Haircut appointment (10 & under) is intended for shorter, lower-maintenance haircuts that can typically be completed within a 30-minute appointment. While age is our general guideline, the appointment is really based on the amount of time and work required. Children with longer, thicker, or more time-intensive hair may need to book a standard haircut so we can reserve enough time to provide the level of care their hair deserves.
Payment
We accept all major credit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and cash.
